AI for Sustainable Development 2020 Initiative

The purpose of the AI for Sustainable Development Initiative is to highlight the work of people and organizations that employ Artificial Intelligence and data science technologies to help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Recognition will be given to people and organizations aiming to build a more sustainable future for all by using AI to address key global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, clean energy, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
