The purpose of the Data Science Initiative is to provide a platform to divulge information about the latest data science research, educational articles on the topic of becoming a data scientist, and to identify and showcase the best resources currently available to learn data science.
Call for Data Science Contributor Articles
Data scientists are welcome to contribute to the initiative by submitting articles to share their experiences. Several types of articles are welcome, including articles on how to become a data scientist, building a data science team, insights from data science conferences, technical articles such as tutorials and guides.
The articles can cover a range of topics such as machine learning, deep learning, NLP, data visualization and so forth.
Interview Series with Data Scientists
We are currently surveying data scientists working across several industries with the purpose to dissect what it takes to become a great data scientist and share the lessons learned on the way.
The interviews will cover several aspects of working as a professional data scientist, including attitude, problem solving, workflows, and tools.

One of the goals of the initiative is to curate several directories of up-to-date resources and materials that can aid the process of learning data science, becoming a data scientist and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends.
