The AITJ internship was the perfect introduction to working in a professional setting. I was able to work on my communication skills and gain experience working with a remote team. I was also not only able to build a portfolio of written samples but also network with many different startup founders, marketing executives, and more. Overall, I am really grateful to have had this opportunity as I was able to learn and grow so much over the course of this internship.

I have become so much more professional in my time working at AITJ. I have learned how to work on media partnerships in a way that let me adapt what I learned at FGCU. I learned how to work effectively in my work with the guidance that I had from the people I worked with. I got to interact with some of the best and brightest in the data science field and hope that I will work with those I have worked with in the future.
I also got to learn how to adapt my PR work into advertising work through the use of articles that I was able to work on and publish on the website. I was able to work more on my writing through this as well as getting feedback from fellow coworkers to make it as great as can be.
Overall, I was able to work in an environment that let me balance my home and other job in a remote environment. I felt valued in my position and I hope I made as much of an impact on the company as they have on my future, thank you AI Time Journal.

I had the privilege to work with a dynamic international team remotely, with whom I had been able to create informational and meaningful work for the AI Time Journal audience.
This internship allowed me to grow as a public relations and social media practitioner, as I had the opportunity to learn and work as a part of the podcast projects. I learned comprehensively about the production, publication, and promotions components of podcast projects. The freedom and ability to create educational content with a dynamic and diverse team had been a wonderful experience. Furthermore, this internship allowed me to extensively correspond, learn and connect with tech, AI, and data science industry leaders, experts and innovators. This experience has given me a professional real-life experience in public relations and the social media field which has taught me to become confident in the work I do. Furthermore, I had the privilege to work with a dynamic international team remotely, with whom I had been able to create informational and meaningful work for the AI Time Journal audience.

I have learned how to communicate with my team so that the work is done properly and on time. I have understood that there have to be some compromises made for a job well done. Learning how to curate specific posts, depending on what is the message you want to send to your audience. Working under pressure in certain moments when specific tasks had to be done ASAP. I have learned that all ideas are welcome as well as new perspectives for improvement. I have had the pleasure to work with such great team members and feel really grateful to have had this experience!

We’ll be utilizing Discord to foster real-time, meaningful interactions and collaborations among all program participants. The program is fully remote.

No, the program is currently free for participants. We do not charge any fees, nor do we provide monetary compensation. It’s an opportunity for hands-on learning and growth in digital marketing.

There’s an introduction call to onboard participants. Additionally, we have a Discord channel, “#action-next-action,” where you can share updates on your progress and next steps.
Can I invite friends to join the program?
Absolutely! We encourage participants to bring in 1 or 2 friends. Collaborative learning and community expansion are integral parts of the experience.
Will there be any agreement or documentation to sign?
Yes, participants will be required to sign a Participation Agreement, covering aspects like confidentiality and other terms. There’s also a Code of Conduct to guide interactions throughout the program.
Is there any recognition upon program completion?
Yes, participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of recognition.
