We explore how Artificial Intelligence and Exponential Technologies bring opportunities for people, organizations, and societies to increase their wealth and health.

We publish articles, podcast interviews, and ebooks with insights from industry leaders and experts, and use cases of exponential technologies across multiple fields, including finance, healthcare, and education.

We are looking for a Marketing Co-founder (CMO) who is ready and motivated to enhance the workplace of a fast-growing media business in the exponentially-growing field of AI. The new team member will have an active role in executing the strategy to launch our e-learning platform.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company’s overall advertising and sales strategy
  • Drive revenue by increasing sales through marketing activities and campaigns
  • Develop the structure of the business’s marketing department
  • Approve and execute marketing campaign ideas
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with the company’s financial and branding goals
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creating all necessary collateral to drive sales
  • Develop tools and techniques to measure and understand the effectiveness of growth initiatives
  • Be an internal champion for the innovation process to clearly and effectively model entrepreneurial behaviors
  • Utilize best practices in primary and secondary market research, prototyping, and experimentation
  • Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints
  • Develop the culture of the team to ensure they are engaged – inspired, inventive, curious and excited to continually raise our creativity

Requirements

  • 8+ years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • An advanced degree in marketing or business (MBA) is preferred
  • Proven track record of email marketing, SEO, paid advertising, social media marketing, community-building, e-commerce, and membership platforms.

  • Initially, this is a part-time position. You don’t need to quit your current job. Working hours are flexible, you just need to attend 1 or 2 weekly team meetings. No salary initially but you will be getting a very reasonable equity share and commissions on the sales that you help generate.
  • Once the MRR grows, you will be able to switch to full-time and get a salary and/or stock option alongside equity.
  • You will have the ability to work remotely and you can be based anywhere in the world.

This position relies on heavy communication skills to manage remote operations and the eagerness to quickly learn new tools and frameworks. We use Slack for team communication, Asana to manage operations and projects, and a number of other tools for automation, including Zapier, IFTTT, etc.

This position is entirely remote.
